We have made changes to our service provision according to guidance from the government and the Chartered Society of Physiotherapists during the COVID 19 outbreak.
Government advice states that during the COVID-19 emergency the physiotherapy workforce, regardless of sector or setting should be compliant with UK government advice and follow NHS guidance for healthcare professionals. We are able to offer face to face contact to clients with rehab needs that we have risk assessed and who meet the following criteria:
at risk of serious deterioration from underlying pathology which we are unable to determine remotely.
have urgent rehabilitation needs, which if not met, will require care from General Practice, secondary care or social care agencies. This is particularly important if they are themselves a carer for someone who is vulnerable.
The majority of our clients are currently receiving video calls to enable them to continue with therapy.
